Who we are

beknown.world is operated by Duncan Hotston, trading as The Tailored Agency, based in Midhurst, United Kingdom. When we say "we", "us", or "our" in this policy, that is who we mean.

What we collect

We collect only what we need to deliver our service and respond to enquiries:

• Name and email address - provided when you submit the AI Visibility Check form
• Website URL - submitted for analysis as part of the visibility check
• Company name and industry - optionally provided during the check
• Payment information - processed securely by Stripe if you subscribe to the Care Plan. We never see or store your card details.

How we use it

• To run the AI visibility check and send you the report
• To respond to your enquiry and, if relevant, prepare a proposal
• To manage Care Plan subscriptions and send service-related emails

We do not send marketing emails unless you have explicitly opted in. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for their marketing purposes.

Where your data is stored

We use the following third-party services to process your data. Each acts as a data processor on our behalf:

• Airtable - lead and enquiry records (US-based, EU-US Data Privacy Framework certified)
• Resend - transactional email delivery (US-based)
• Stripe - payment processing for Care Plan subscriptions (US-based, EU-US Data Privacy Framework certified)
• Vercel - website hosting and cookieless analytics (US-based)
• Anthropic - AI analysis for visibility reports. Your company name and website URL may be sent to generate the report. No personal contact details are shared with Anthropic.

Cookies

This website does not use tracking cookies, advertising cookies, or third-party analytics cookies. We use Vercel Analytics, which is cookieless and collects only anonymous, aggregated usage data. No cookie consent banner is required because there are no non-essential cookies to consent to.

How long we keep your data

Enquiry and visibility check data is retained for 24 months from submission unless you become a client, in which case it forms part of your project record and is retained for the duration of our working relationship plus 6 years (in line with HMRC requirements). You can request deletion at any time.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018, you have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your data
• Object to or restrict processing
• Data portability

Changes to this policy

If we make material changes to this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page. We will not reduce your rights under this policy without your consent.
